The molded transition thermocouple is designed to provide high dielectric resistance from sheath to ground. Thermoset plastic is a glass filled compound that withstands temperatures up to 900°F (482°C).
Molded transition thermocouples combine the ruggedness of a stainless steel sheath with flexible leads with strain relief. The molded transition is soft and smooth for sensitive applications.
